4-5 September Dimboola Swap Meet and Show N Shine Dimboola is situated on a major highway half way between Melbourne and Adelaide, Mildura and Portland, with easy access to the town and its attractions. Organised by the Little Desert Rodders Club the 2-day Swap Meet is to be staged at the Dimboola Showgrounds large park complex located on the banks of the Wimmera River with excellent facilities, beautiful shady gum trees and grassed areas, all within walking distance of the town centre. A Show N Shine will be held on the Saturday, with Hot Rod, Classics, Street Machines as well as bikes catered for. Clean out the shed and bring along everything from hot rod parts to antiques, collectables and bike parts. Swap sites are 9 m x 6 m $15 (covers both days) camping for sellers permited. MSTEC’s 43rd annual rally will be held over the long weekend 12th 13th and 14th of March 2011. Mobile and stationary steam displays, earth moving including the mighty walking dragline Bigfoot, diesel engines and generators - see the newly arrived Willans blast injection diesel, oil engines, military vehicles, models , vintage tools, miniature railway rides and lots more.
