The Triumph 5hp Serial No. 1543 Circa. 1920

Made by Kelly & Lewis in Melbourne Vic. and distributed by Dalgety and Co in NSW. This engine came from Nundle NSW near Tamworth where it was used to pump water for the Foo Family decendants of Chinese Market Gardeners. For subscribers who have issue #63 February 1996 see page 17 for more information. We regret that this issue is now sold out.

Austral Oil Engine, 3 1/2hp Blow lamp start. Manufactured 1917, Serial No 1853.

This engine came from Breadalbane NSW and was used to drive a shearing plant. When purchased it still had its original manual and blow lamp.
Lister CS 10 / 2 ( 10hp 2 cylinder ), Serial No. 5351 Manufactured in 1932.

The Lister is all on its original transporter and was used in the Barrington Tops, NSW in a timber mill. It is all complete and runs smoothly and awaiting restoration.

Austral Oil Engine, 11hp, Blow lamp start Serial No. 2768. Manufactured April 1920.

Records show that the original owners to be 'Tarcoola' Station, situated on the west side of the Darling River, just below the little town of Pooncarie,NSW and marked in as 11hp. Because there is no actual owner of the engine recorded, 'Tarcoola' may have been a company owned station.

Austral Oil Engine, 5hp Manufactured in 1928.
Serial No. 7245 Magneto start.

This Austral was made by Ronaldson Brothers & Tippett of Ballarat, Victoria. The motor starts on petrol and when it reaches the required temperature, it is switched to kerosene. This engine was purchased by the Reinhard family to run a 4 stand shearing plant at their Ringaroo sheep station in the Wellington area of NSW .The engine stayed in the same family from 1928 until 1994 When it was purchased by Lance and Elenore. It is still in original condition and runs sweetly.

With 3 point linkage, made approx. mid 1950's

Ransomes MG2 Crawler Tractor

Believed to be built in 1937. It has 1 forward and 1 reverse gear
